Neuronal Electrical Recordings
Electrical recordings of neurons serve as a core resource for the data-driven modelling approach at Blue Brain. In vitro whole-cell patch-clamp recordings of neurons located in the rat somatosensory cortex (hind limb region) and neurons located in the CA1 of the rat and mouse hippocampus can be found below.
Rat Somatosensory Cortex Neurons (hind limb)
Electrical recordings of neurons in the rat somatosensory cortex at postnatal day 13-16.
Data are given for current stimuli (in pA), and voltage responses (in mV) from whole-cell patch clamp recordings in single neurons acquired using IGOR Pro (scientific graphing, and data analysis software; WaveMetrics, Inc., Portland, OR, USA)
